1 tablespoon pu'erh tea
1 1-inch chunk ginger
2 tablespoons dried dandelion root
1 quart boiling water
Put all ingredients in an infuser (not a tea ball, but a sieve with a large enough space to let the leaves expand). Cover with boiling water. Cover the container and let steep 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator. Makes 4 cups.
Pu'erh is fermented black tea that is supposed to aid digestion after high-fat meals. Dandelion root is a liver cleanser. Ginger is an anti-inflammatory agent. Combine the three and you get a powerful diet corrective for when you made maybe some not-so-great choices.
